From the venue's website...
Quote
Music nights are hosted in a centrally heated marquee connected to the pub. Up-close, intimate & unique musicians. Audience members need to have pre-show dinner and remain seated during the performance. Table service food & drinks throughout the evening.

I'd love to be able to get to that. Too far away from home, sadly. Great pub too, The Crooked Billet.

I!ve checked the website of all our local venues that could potentially have them….
Can’t find anything at all… vey disappointing, I wish they would send us the list, it’s taking far too long.

Near the start of the youtube video of Peggy's birthday bash, Peggy mentioned that Gareth is in Australia - maybe that might explain the lack of info (yes, I know he should be able to update the FC website via t'interweb...)

But then you'd have to turn your screen upside down to read it... Grin

From FC's website:

We apologise for the delay in releasing information on the forthcoming Wintour 2023. Some of the venues have understandably been taking a while to get back on their feet following the pandemic  - indeed, some are operating under new ownership - but we will be announcing the complete tour very soon.

Bad news (for me) No dates anywhere near me. Good news was the announcement on the website confirming that DM will be touring with the band,

It's a remarkably English and somewhat Southern focussed set of dates...  I guess they need home comforts.

Just googled the dates for Cropredy 2023 and came across a site atthebarrier.com seasoned Cropredy goers

Their speculation for who could play in 2023 is:

Public Service Broadcasting
Neil Young (yes, really!)
Steven Wilson
Nick Mason & Saucerful of Secrets
Big Big Train
Robert Plant & Alison Krauss
Bob Dylan (mates with Ashley H apparently)
Elbow & Richard Hawley double bill
Lucinda Williams
The Manfreds
Andy Fairweather Low
They also suggested Wilko Johnson but that boat has sadly sailed Sad

Some smaller acts...
The Young 'Uns
Annie Keating
Maz O'Connor
The Magpie Arc
False Lights
Amelia Coburn
Rusty Shackle (fairly local to me and a big favourite of my family in Monmouthshire)
The Lost Trades
Annie Dressner

Seth Lakeman again as the Saturday opener

I know it's only speculation, but I like it  Grin Any or all of these would be amazing.

See you at the Cricket Club on the Thursday!  Cool

On what planet is Ashley mates with Bob?!

The idea that Neil makes an appearance at Cropredy is hilarious.  Steve Wilson and Percy/Allison probably fit into that category too, although I could see Mr Plant there wearing a Saving Grace hat (although as a festival band - not sure).  A few other good suggestion, mind.

Personally, I think Fripp and Toyah are a shoe-in though...that only leaves one more headliner to find.
