Interesting to see that they have announced the timings, and although Albert Lee appears at the top of the billing for Thursday night, it's actually Peatbog Faeries who will close the evening (a good decision to my way of thinking, as they'll end it on a high, whereas although I know Albert Lee's name, I couldn't name a single song of his).

Also on Saturday, they have announced a 25 minute break between Martin Barre and Bob Fox and Billy Mitchell, which seems a little odd - changeovers can take about that long sometimes, but they don't usually have a break announced...  Saving a slot for a special guest (unannounced this time, and please, not Carrott again!)?  Or just for the Toast?  Grin

The timings all look shot - looks like giving 45 minutes for Trevor Horn to get set up assuming El Pony play for an hour.

Interesting to see Fc set to play Sidmouth on August 1st - seems a bit close to Croppers to me but there you go.

Not sure if his appearance has been flagged up elsewhere but there's an entertaining interview with Peggy on David Hepworth/Mark Ellen's 'Word in your ear/attic' show on Youtube...

Cheers,

Does anybody have a digitised copy of Disc 5 of A Box of Pegg's they'd be willing to share with me (especially the audio, but ideally all of it).  Just picked up a very reasonably priced copy and unfortunately it's missing the bonus.

It seems that was just a limited edition bonus with the first 500 copies (but I expect you know that already).

Indeed.  So happy with the rest of the set though - it's literally as good as new...and £35 delivered.

"I Can See You Still: Richard Thompson’s Across a Crowded Room at 40

40 years on from its release, Wayne Gooderham revisits the second album Richard Thompson recorded in the wake of his split from wife Linda, and finds a subtle, off-kilter – and unfairly overlooked – mid-career masterpiece (and an utterly essential live sister album)"
