I'm having a clear-out and I have 25 issues of the Friends of Fairport magazine 'The Ledge'. If anyone is interested in giving them shelf room, send me a personal message and I'll let you know the 2nd class P&P cost.

After 163 views and no offers, I can only assume that the age of print-based, cut-and-paste, Fairport-centric, folk-rock fanzines is finally over... Going once, going twice... In the recycling bin.

If it means anything at all I seriously considered your offer. My Fpt history is a bit scant, and I'd certainly have read them. But postage comes expensive these days (I'm learning this a san amazon seller) and I managed to stop buying new magazines a few years ago due to lack of space, as well as budget.

Shame that no-one wants these.. I've got loads of copies, in properly produced bound covers too.
Ian Burgess did a great job of writing and producing these.. Lots of interesting interviews and photos...
Come on someone!

I'd love to take you up on the offer, but I don't want to even imagine the shipping to the US.

I've just been to the post office and the cost of sending the magazines second class in the U.K. is £2.80. It's a silly little amount that I'll happily pay myself if they're going to a good home. So, looking back at the timeline, Alan2 has first refusal, then Tasha. Should our paths ever cross at Cropredy, whoever gets them can buy me a pint. (Although, for £2.80, better make that a half )

Really enjoying reading these. Which is on e argument for never actually chucking away things like this- - somebody might be able to use them. I still have my ISB 'zines, and Big Untidy - remember it?- and others.
