However,
The excellent 3Doors Down might be on a European US airbases Tour.
Brad and the boys would go down brilliantly I think. When Im Gone or Away from the Sun would be one of my Desert Island discs. Hard to choose wich.

I don't normally contribute to this thread, as it is mostly pissing in the wind, but I did see a band at Wickham that would go down very well.
Caravan of Thieves.
The music has a sort of 1920s Paris type feel, but with many modern twists. They are touring the UK at the moment, so you could get a chance to see them. They did a short but storming set on the first day, and were then asked back to deputise for a poorly Luka Bloom. The crowd loved them, and their encore on the first day was so good, they were asked to reprise it.

I'm unconvinced that an acoustic solo/duo act from a 'folk' background (I know that doesn't really cover MC but it still stands) could hold the attention of more than a very small segment at Cropredy any more... |
