Interesting article in the Sunday Telegraph 'Living' supplement January 4th 2015 entitled 'The Cult of the Drummer'. The article includes an interview with Dave Mattacks and others. The reason behind the article is a new film about to be released called 'Whiplash' about a young drummer.

The article gives just a brief resume of the film then talks about drummers & their nature. No mention of DM or anyone else contributing to the film.

Just watched Whiplash. One of the most shallow, 2-dimensional films I've ever sat through. Some good drumming, but not worth watching it just for that. Just trying to help out here..
