Colin Irwin seems to have a problem with any repackaging of Sandy's work. He gave a sniffy (2-star) review to 'The Lady' tour in 2012: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/live-music-reviews/9288203/Homage-to-Sandy-Denny-Barbican-review.htmlI find plenty to like on the box -- two hitherto unseen video tracks, the BBC recordings in decent quality (esp Wild Mountain Thyme, despite the obtrusive bass), the lovely demo of The Pond And The Stream (previously only on the mega box)...

I pre-ordered through Amazon UK, and have downloaded the autorip version. On first listening I like it, but it is not earth shaking. The CDs are still at work. Perhaps I should have waited until it was released and just bought the MP3 at £18.99. Though I would miss out on the as yet unseen DVD. Edit: below I finally ordered it today, via Amazon.uk. I can't wait!
John seems to have got in just in time. Amazon's UK seller (Speedyhen) has just one left!

Well, my box set had just plopped onto the floor under the letter box. Off to have a look.

Our postie doesn't normally get here until nearly lunchtime... I saw a copy on sale in Fopp Bristol yesterday (£35 I think) and the box/artwork looks very neat.

One thing I've noticed - if Knights Of The Road and The Plainsman were both originally Fairportised in order to be included on Rosie, then why don't we have a Fotheringay version of The Plainsman on this box? I'd have liked that.

Mine arrived this morning, I'm quite relieved to find the booklet doesn't come on high German and gothic script, and i would have liked the fairported songs as well. Thanks to Jools for the pointer to amazon de, 13 dabs are not to be scoffed at.

Mine's arrived, together with my RT at the BBC set ordered at the weekend. Mrs PaulT is going out tomorrow evening, so I will have a marathon listening session accompanied by a glass or several of red wine.

US offers don't usually apply for UK shipping. Plus you run the risk of customs charges. Great for any other TAWers in the States though. Jules

Thanks, Jules. Worth checking out though! I went back and fiddled around with the site some. It set the price at 22.12 sterling and the shipping still appeared to be free! However, since I don't have a UK address handy, I didn't take it through the whole process to find out for sure.

£20.12 with free shipping to the UK. Gave prices in GBP immediately (must recognise UK DNS address) and very smooth process.

Still a risk of customs and handling charges, mind. Jules
