Even Maartin Alcock made an appearance on stage last night in manchester ;-)

Nice.  Doing what?   Smiley

Just before the start of part 2 sally barker was having trouble with one of her guitars. Maart rushed up on stage and tried to sort it out for her but the jack socket seemed to be rubber ducked. After nipping off stage right for a few seconds they reappeared and hijacked PJ's spare acoustic just as the other members were reappearing.

Good night had by all who attended(the bridgewater was maybe a quarter full) and delightful to see Amos Brearley off Emmerdale farm on bass guitar.

Great gig in Kendal tonight, I would post more but I'm doing this on an iPad, so it's not conducive to long reviews.

Great performance by Jerry and the gang at Kendal, but such a great band needto be seen at a bigger venue. Flat seating, low roof stifling heat but they certainly did the Fotheringay memory justice. Big thumbs up for Kathryn, Sally and Pj those big shoes were filled respectfully. Glad I went!

Sounds good my mates six foot eight and after a night on the lovely seats in Kendal it would be a relief to stretch out and I still think the band would come across better in a bigger venue, saying that the trembling bells and mike heron were fine there the other year, maybe my ears are going.

Happy to say the Under The Bridge show lived up to expectations, everyone playing their part superbly. Great musicians all, I for one would welcome an album of new material.  Smiley

Thanks for this review, I envy those of you able to see these shows.  I hope they put out a CD or DVD of this for those of us unable
to be there.
