Ever since Mama Mia succeeded in London (and other stages), I've been intrigued by 'jukebox musicals'.

More recently, the Kinks and Carole King songs have got the same treatments. This just set me wondering (not altogether seriously) what songs and story might drive a Fairport variant!

Would it it start with a poor ditching boy called Matty? A Cajun Woman or with Rosie, evicted from Genesis Hall?

Why not indulge your inner storyteller and share!

I'm thinking it'll be best to leave out Bonnie Black Hare.  Nobody wants an X-rated musical!   Wink

Matty, Will Timms and John Lee could do a different version of Three Jolly Boys as part of the script  Shocked
They could all be hitting on Lord Donald's wife and have to emigrate to America on a sailing boat. What a life that would be..

What about writing it on the way to Cropredy and TAWers putting on each contribution at the cricket pavillion  Grin
