Wild Honey Presents - The Beatles

A charity event in LA where the entirety of 'The White Album' was recreated live, including Iain Matthews, Christine Collister, Dave Gregory, various Bangles, Muffs and other luminaries of the LA scene.

All of the tracks are available on Youtube: here's Christine leading Hey Jude for the finale :  http://youtu.be/GGV2XUI0qHc

Its a bit of a mixed bag, but there are some great versions; and yes, they even tackled Revolution No. 9  http://youtu.be/7WT__dkyBS4

So they couldn't stay forever with the same acoustic sound and now they sound like everybody else. made for the American market I guess

Thanks for including the picture.  I was able to see her bare shoulders, and also the colour of her roots.   Grin

Looks like it as geeeaidan's email address is @sonnetmusic, and the lady is on their artists' page.
Still, I liked the song.

I'm sure there's a David Hughes song to be had here, with a title akin to "She's done her 'pits, she must be serious".

As a failed trumpet player I just love this current earworm. "Mount the Air" from the ever jolly Unthanks. Here's the single version with pictures

And a longer version without:
