In 1965 I heard a record on the radio which, to me me, sounded absolutely fantastic. I do not know if it was on radio Luxembourg or one of the pirate stations. I went to the biggest record shop in town and ordered it, I did go there almost every week but in the end it took four months before it arrived. I found several clips of that song but the one below was the best of all, young people dancing. I do not know if the images were taken from a tv broadcast or that someone filmed it in some club, the song is Get yourself home by The Fairies: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7aMEDVbziMAlso done by The Pretty Things: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD5wxVyk8bg

After hearing their version I still prefer the one done by The Fairies.

Who could possibly forget Ramblin' Rod & His New Morris Van, with their 1984 single '(I Can Do The) Molly Dance'? Pretty much everybody, that's who. But for obscurity value: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcyVQ5SOMMQ

The title track from Trembling Bells new album. Definitely more folky than some of their recent stuff, but still as good. Still think Lavinia has one of the best voices in the folk scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qqjno5IziPU

It's been in the live repertoire for about 2 or 3 years. Lovely track. I like the weird sh1t too, mind
