Hi folks. I haven't been on here for a while. I hope it's okay to come back in and post a wee link to my daughter's band's vid. I won't slink off, I'll put a few quid behind the bar in t'Arms and a shilling in the jukebox. ermmm, it's a bit sweary, and it's a bit punk, just to forewarn.... (it's actually the most "commercial" thing they do) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X80Jfq5wNmA

Jamie Cullum often has very interesting artists on his show, he had a thing with Richard Spaven the other week, I love this Richard Spaven - The Self feat. Jordan Rakei https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YattHO96UzI

David Gilmour's version of Dimming Of The Day. Apologies if a duplication of a previous post.

David Gilmour's version of Dimming Of The Day. Apologies if a duplication of a previous post. Thanks for that...not seen it before, I don't think. It's certainly interesting. Wouldn't say I like it, mind...but definitely don't dislike it. Hmmmm. Listen again methinks.

Nice little Peter Gabriel Solsbury Hill montage. Not to mention a duet with Sting on Digging In The Dirt. They're 67 and 65 respectively, you know.

I know some of you where there, but Oysterband's complete set from Shrewsbury Festival is up. They seem so energized with Pete Flood on the drums and Adrian Oxaal really seems to be getting more of an idenity with the group. But nothing as energizing as when they play My Country Too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LgunuqYAxc&feature=youtu.be

From 2014 and fascinating for any guitar gear geeks out there...Richard Thompson demonstrates how to deal with a hired/unfamiliar backline amplifier... Proof that it really is all in the fingers... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VZ6ow1dFvU

Nice one Mike. Tales of Silversleeve is an exceptional album imo. She's one of Ireland's hidden treasures. Talking of which, just been listening again to the beautifully quirky and intelligent Julie Feeney, the Pages album. For a taster Google/YouTube Impossibly Beautiful. Sumptuous stuff.

It certainly is a damn fine record. The comment of one of the videos says that she will never be successful because she's too talented. Possibly true, and therefore sad. It took a while to edit the link you gave to make it work, but Julie Feeney seems familiar from somewhere...nice selections. I wonder if 'Nutty Irish Chicks' should become an official genre.

These Pentangle 'set of six' videos (put up to help publicise the new box) are superb... He might have hated it, but, man, did John play some beautiful electric guitar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4DJUDcKvk8
