I could probably also put this in the Steeleye section, but I guess here is fine.

Ken Nicol with Melbourne-based Scottish singer Fiona Ross, recorded live just yesterday.  By me.  Smiley

Inspired by another thread, here's Celtas Cortos' "Vida Gris", replaying the compliment with their cover of the Oysters "Granny's Ears".  Smiley

Have we done Dawes and Thompy (in very fetching leisurewear) doing Calvary Cross yet? My favourite part is probably either RT finally becoming comfortable with his backing band and nodding at Taylor to take a solo, or Griffin’s pitch-perfect Mattacks pastiche. https://youtu.be/CCnnS4lFOsg

I recently came across this young guitarist, Josh Turner, though he plays banjo on this cover of 1952 Vincent. There are dozens of videos on his YouTube channel and he's keen on 60s and 70s music with covers by The Beatles, Dylan, James Taylor, CSN and many others. Check out his Nick Drake covers too - there are nice versions of Hazey Jane II and Three Hours.

Sounds like a tune that's slightly more well known that came out a couple of years after it....

First song i thought of was Donovan's Season of the Witch, which came out 5 years before this, but then they came in with the melody.
