Blackbeard's Tea Party with their version of The Diamond. A great folk-rock version with an entirely unexpected type of video..! From their new EP Leviathan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyzMTF7RQZY

I was near the front of the stage at that performance. Seem to recall that Xray Spex played and Poly Styrene was wearing some sort of turban that she took off to reveal she had shaved all her hair off in protest at something or other.Patrick Fitzgerald also played I seem to remember and had a lot of cans thrown at him and went off stage in a huff.

Huw and Tony Williams, continuing their 100% record of having me burst in to tears upon hearing Rosemary’s Sister. There are also versions of I Can Jump Puddles and The Summer Before The War from the same gig. https://youtu.be/fHtoT1R1ISc

The Waterboys' Glastonbury performance from 1989. One of my all-time biggest regrets was missing their performance there that year (I couldn't go, I forget why), so I'm so pleased to be able to see it now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FzzscdSH6gJules

Cool....I WAS there...my first Waterboys experience, although, like David, I wasn't completely there...but I suspect it was a milder sort of absence.

It isn't, but I still dug it. I was there in 1986 too. Just about compos mentis enough to take it all in. Jules

Just published from The Old Grey Whistle Test archives the full wonderful 1975 session from Stackridge. https://youtu.be/kx6CsDDQfo4pThis is the period when they were signed to Elton John's Rocket Record label , of note is the bright coloured suits a result of them being fitted out by Elton's dresser.
