Who the hell knew this existed?

Rick Wakeman-I'm so straight I'm a weirdo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQ8DWJfbHJM

I think he'd been listening to some of that New Wave stuff, you know...

Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets live in Copenhagen.

Forget Roger Water's big spectacle, go see these twice instead.

I've not watched it all, but I've got mixed feelings.  It still sounds a tad too 'muscular' to me - playing the 60's material with a 70's (almost late 70's) rock sensibility....  But it is certainly great fun, and I'd love to see them live.

A bit bland but pleasant enough in it's way. He still seems to be seeking a direction.

Interesting...thanks.  It's 'oversung' for me.  No idea if that means anything musically, but I know what I mean...  Wink

Watched that The Art Of Drumming documentary last night and was delighted by this young woman playing her drums in homage to Keith Moon:

There's a clip of the Crims playing Indiscipline on the dgmlive website - I am fair gobsmacked - and that's not even one of my favourites of theirs!

And whoever said "prog" was po-faced needs to watch the drummers...

Can't wait for the release of "Meltdown" next month - or the UK concerts!

WOW! That's some impressive stuff right there. My little boy is nearly a year old and I'd LOVE for him to be a drummer when he grows up. I'm gonna sit him in front of this and see if it rubs off...!

Quite. Our son didn't get his first drum kit until his second birthday...

I am not a drummer but remember being given a drum (by a mischievous Uncle!) when I was very little and my Mum limiting my time thereon by stowing it on top of the wardrobe Grin

That girl is German and is now 19. Marvellous. Lots of stuff on Youtube.

Imho some of the best British acoustic duo picking since Bert and John.  Fabulous stuff.

My nephew, Tom, is the drummer in this band. I'm obviously biased, but I love the song. The video is silly, mind😁
