R.E.M. released their seventh album “Out of Time” on this day in 1991. It has sold more than 18 million worldwide. My (Everyone's?) favourite track with a great contribution from Kate Pierson of the B-52's both vocally and in the accompanying video. |

You do know that this was the track that nearly everybody both in the band and in the fandom felt they had to apologise for, right? My daughter is a music student at Edinburgh College where they run a studio recording session once a week for students to record and film a performance. She joined my band last year on a charity gig for a few songs including Karine Polwart's Follow The Heron and last week the 2 of us recorded it for a Music Box Session.
