Not sure how this slipped under my radar for a whole week, but Mr. Chris Leslie's new album (Turquoise Tales) is available for purchase here:

http://www.chrislesliemusic.co.uk

According to the Fairport Convention site, the CD includes new versions of The Fossil Hunter and I'm Already There among its twelve tracks.

I shall order a copy within the next week or so.  Lookin' forward to parsing the liner notes as I give the disc a listen or three.

Fully agree.
Bought it while at the Aggies concert in Hitchin and it had more than a dozen spins so far.

Wendy just found this in a pile of stuff we brought back from Croppers last year and I'm playing it for the first time. Three songs also on Fairport albums including the current favourite about DIY*.

*Frankly if I'm to listen to songs about DIY I'll go straight to Peter Gabriel every time.

It's been renamed Devil's Work on the new CD

It was called "Devil's Work" on the old one too, I was bending reality to fit my sentiment.
