Some very relevant points being made here.
Robert I completely accept your point and I apologise if I was partly responsible for taking this thread somewhere else.
However people who may sound negative , Jim, David, even myself have been Fairport fans for a very long time.
I think we simply want one of those classic Saturday night Fairport sets.
So back on thread........
I am doing this for the Cropredy set rather than a winter tour so ....not in set list order
1 Fotheringay ( Ideally with a female voice although I have heard Simon sing this wonderfully well)
2 MOTL (sorry , just a really personal song to me)

5 Tam Lin ( maart on keys)

8 Any jigs medley Ric would like to put together/ Lark in the morning/ Dirty Linen etc

11 Hiring Fair
12 Red and Gold
13 Wounded Whale ( maart on keys/ lead gtr)
14 White Dress ( but we need that female voice)
15 Rising for the Moon
16 Portmerion
17 Wood and the Wire
18 My love is in America
19 Celtic Moon ( Chris on vocals.)
20 A 1950s/ 60's r n b standard done in a Fairport styling. Eg That'll be the day'

Health issues notwithstanding, is there any possibility of Swarb being involved in the 50th? Or is the rift too large?
Should he recover to the point of being able to perform, while at his age and given the severity of his illness there must be some doubt about that, I would hope that all concerned are big enough men to bury the marchers and give him pride of place.
