I've had occasion over the years to wonder about the meaning (if any) of As Bitme. I've tended to read it as a jokey continuation of the thought begun in the preceding track title, so "the hair of the dogma as bitme"... have I been wrong all these years? Enquiring minds need to know!

I have always assumed like you that that was the reason - the two titles follow on from one another.

I think someone in the FC camp had been reading a bit of Flann O'Brien around the time of The bonny bunch of roses, what with the hair of the dogma, as bitme and Jams O'Donnell' s jig.
