If it's as good as House Full, I'll have to have it. Too early to say. There is no RT on it of course. But it is not far off and is certainly louder and more uptempo than some of House Full. Only 36 minutes long, sadly.

Big typo in the first para in the booklet where it says Peggy is on the drums as well as Bass. Later it lists the musicians correctly.

Does it? I didn't notice that. I must look again.

Listened to it just. Very entertaining. Great, muscular performances. But I can't help thinking that the tracklisting is all arse about tit. Sir Pat is introduced as the last song, but here's it halfway through. William Gower is terrific, but it sure doesn't sound like a final encore. I'm thinking the gig must surely have gone: tracks 5-7 (Matty, Sir B McKenzie, William Gower); then 1-4 (Bridge, Journeyman, Mason's Apron, Sir Pat). Anyone know for sure? Any setlists from this period for clues?

House Full is similar - starts with Sir Patrick which is introduced as the final song.

Indeed, but then I never thought of House Full as attempting to accurately represent a single concert. Jules

Why on earth not what? Jules ...did you hold that view? Presumably. Gotta admit I was surprised by that statement too.

House Full is clearly not a concert as it happens - it starts with the last song and at least one CD version ended with Yellow Bird!

Just received Live in Finland 1971 yesterday and listened to the whole thing during my evening and morning commutes.
Except for the loud hiss at the very beginning, it's a very solid recording. I love the energy and volume. In the booklet, Peggy and Simon discuss how much fun they had on stage back then, and how they enjoyed "showing off." That's a great description of the performance. 5 out of 5 stars.

Being a cheapskate I ordered it via surface mail and thus only received it the other day; brilliant recording!

It's described in the Fairport unconventional book as being recorded over three nights. The running order varies across the three versions. I assumed the intro to Sir Pat was some kind of joke by Simon. Isn't that quite a demanding song to finish off with?
