Sadly I was rather too prescient after seeing Stornoway in Nantwich and noting that I thought their time was probably up.  Well, sadly, now it is...

Statement and farewell tour details.  I shall miss them greatly.

ps but I might go and have a chat with Brian at his day job one day  Smiley

Shame ... only saw them once and found them a little bland unfortunately but they seemed like really nice guys.

Didn't see that coming, but the statement on their website makes it sound pretty final. Just a short farewell tour next year and that's it.

I'm sure a friendly Mod will do the business.  See you in Manchester?  Smiley

Gutted but not unexpected. Band means a lot to us as their albums got Jane through her labour with Tommy. Unfortunately she will be in Oz for most of the tour but luckily we can just make Bristol.

Almost certainly. I quite like the idea of Oxford, their final gig in their home city would be pretty special, but in the end I suppose economics will dictate that it's Manchester, although Academy 3 isn't my favourite venue there by a long way.

Saw them a couple of times, gave an album.
They were on the cusp f becoming mainstream a few yrs ago but it didn't happen.
Sad but they produced some lovely stuff and have now gone the way iof most bands. People age, grow, change , have different goals............
