Town hall, Maldon Essex for me as I live just 3 miles away! Thanks for making me aware of this otherwise I would have no idea that this was happening. Not a bad size venue either  Smiley

Shame that the London gig is so small.....

The Ivy House might not be the largest of venues, but Swarb came to play there a few times. Jill approached us saying that she'd love The Goose Is Out to host the gig there, as Swarb had fond memories of the place and the gigs tht we'd given him there, both solo and with Martin C  Smiley

I'm fairly certain Chris is right.  I've been looking periodically for the Liverpool tickets and still can't find them.  Shambles!

They seem to be slow off the mark there - their autumn shows only went on sale in September & I thought that might include January. Hey ho, I suspect it might not sell well if they aren't on sale soon.

I'm not sure you really need the last six words in that sentence.  Sadly.

Must be a Liverpool thing - I went to see Whippersnapper there a few years ago; there were about 8 people there.

Thanks, Steve - do you have a link to their ticket page that works?

This one seems to be right - but the gig isn't listed -

Still can’t help thinking that there should have been a massive celebration of Swarb’s life at somewhere like the Royal Albert Hall.
If anyone deserved it Swarb did.

Yes perhaps - or the Union Chapel maybe, however, Swarbs' widow Jill approached us (The Goose Is Out!) to hold the London gig at The Ivy House, where Swarb came and played both solo and with Martin Carthy. He enjoyed our nights especially, and we had a good relationship with him, it's particularly meaningful for us as Swarb was our first guest when we started 10 years ago. We are honored and extremely pleased to be hosting this night. Smiley
