Carolanne Pegg's self titled album is being reissued in June (Esoteric). Some people might be pleased.  Cool

You're welcome. It's a rarity even on CD, now, so this is indeed good.

I'm afraid I had to check good old Wikipedia to ensure CP is still with us. I remember a very interesting radio interview a few years back.

There's a version of Fair Fortune's Star up on YouTube that I think is off this album.  It's brilliant.  Proper folk rock with a cracking solo by (I think) Albert Lee.  Never heard the rest of the record so I'm quite excited for this release!

Also noteworthy:

Not worth starting a new thread, but I just discovered that the first Hudson Ford album Nickelodeon, features one Gerry Conway on drums. The 3 HF albums are just out in a box, and long overdue.

Did someone mention them here yesterday?  Because I found myself looking for Pick Up The Pieces on YouTube.  A great single.  I loved it as a kid.

Don't know, but they were a good band. I still have a copy of 'Floating in the Wind', another good single.

And now this, which I'm quite excited about, from the late Lesley Duncan.

Great news.  I hope this means they are planning to make the rest of her back catalogue available as well.

I hope so too.

I have the Edsel CD of Earth Mother, but this is still worth getting.

Thanks David.  Actually I already have a CD, a Japanese one which sounds very good. I can't resist the vinyl for this album, though.  Smiley

The new CD package does look rather lovely, mind.  I'm torn.  Will probably end up with the CD, I imagine...

Both Shelagh MacDonald albums coming out on CD, from Talking Elephant.

Good news for those who didn't pick up that Castle compilation some years ago now.

It all comes round again.

https://www.spincds.com/coming-soon/live-salinas-california-1983-cd-53531

This I already have from 1997. In the proper 3CD jewel case the first release came in. (If it's the same set, which I think it is). I rather like the part where Ashley tells the story of the group.
