Think the majority here are in agreement. CIS were unoriginal playing dull commercial soft rock which left me cold

At the end of our row sat a chap all decked out in full Morris dancing gear, quietly sipping a glass of wine while Cats in Space were doing their hair metal thing on the stage. it just made me smile...

Hackneyed hard rock, but then again, why not? Nice to hear them do Slade's "How Does It Feel".

Loved them. Made me smile, brought back memories of my teen years. Tight harmonies, all the 70s rock moves done with tongue firmly in cheek.Just good fun, which we could all do with from time to time.

Well I liked them So did I Sue, but I can see why many wouldn't like them. I like big hair and waaaaaaah style vocals! Great for driving to work and singing along to, but they really did belong in the 1980's. Enjoyed Slade's "How Does it Feel" especially. Great song.

Thought they would be fun, so grabbed youngest and dragged them down to the front. Subdued start, but we got more and more into the music until we were both headbanging and having a whale of a time. For everyone who seems to take offence at their presence, well, there are other places to go, things to do, and navels to contemplate. CiS were a bit of loud fun, and we loved them

There was a song I'm familiar with by The Creation called "How Does it Feel to Feel" - same song? Edit: Nope, completely different song

I thoroughly enjoyed them so much so I made the long trek from our usual top of the hill to the CD tent and bought their CD ( No good performance should go unrewarded...) plus I picked up a bargain Incredible String Band CD for £3 - bonus!
Not a highlight perhaps but a good bit of fun on a pleasant saturday afternoon.

I will comment although I was not there, when I thought I was going I Googled the bands I had never heard of and they appealed to me, my sort of thing etc. Fast forward and I wasn't there but Danny Bowes played a track of theirs on his radio show tonight and I thought it did what it said on the tin..... were they so bad at Cropredy? Asking for constructive criticism not personal preference.....
Cheers xx ab xxx. .

another place another time they might have been good. On reflection i think the issue was that there was nothing special, nothing extraordinary, nothing to reach out and grab me. to me this year had some brilliant acts, fairport, pierce brothers, soh, morris on, as highlights, but not much else reached out in the same way.
