Had never heard Morris music played so expertly - well, not since the last time I saw Morris On, anyway. The addition of the old firm (Nicol, Thompson, Mattacks) added extra welly to an excellent set.

Great way to kick off Saturday. Joyful and fun - everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves, too.

Abso-bloomin'-marvellous! Wonderful way to get Saturday going (so much better than Digance...), though it did mean I missed my usual trip to the boot sale, which I often do in that slot! So great to see the old crowd with the new, all having fun.

Brilliant, what a line up. Far too short a set, should have been on for an hour, but I guess the guys were pretty knackered as they played with nearly everyone at some point over the weekend. Morris (Rock) on!

Morris On were excellent. I loved the heavy feel to Cuckoo's Nest and I think that song just pipped the post for the "best RT guitar solo" of the weekend. And that was a very tightly fought contest!

Altogether superb IMO. I'll no doubt rattle a few cages here but I was impressed with the way the white hanky ritual was included. Despite the naysayers, a lot of people enjoy this quirky Cropredy tradition. Off to look on YouTube..

Although not a big Digance fan I always love the hankie bit, so I'm glad it was included this year.

I was looking forward to seeing these almost as much as Fairport, and they didn't disappoint, apart from maybe the set being a bit short. I hope the set gets a CD release at some point, if only for the version of Cuckoo's Nest which was outstanding.
There were two blokes next to me, maybe about 30ish, and when RT took a solo just turned to each other smiling and nodding, just acknowledging the brilliance of what they'd seen.

The LPs were standard party fare when I was at university. I was looking forward to it, and they didn't disappoint.

Right up my street, loved it. I don't think that style of music could be performed any better. I suppose it helps if you invented it though!

Just wish there had been more room in the morish pit for a bit more jigging around! A dream line up for me, and infectious joyful music.

Wasn't quite sure what to expect, sent Down to the Pit to show the Crop Virgin what Morris was about and was more than pleasantly surprised to hear Ashley and the other Old Boys. We really enjoyed the whole set and it really rocked!
