Just wondering what everyone's personal highlights from all the artists were this year?

Personally my favourites were CC Smugglers, my boyfriend is a huge fan, first time I've seen them live and I had a fantastic time dancing at the front, top class for me!

Others that stood out for me were Show Of Hands, Morris on, Dougie MacLean and of course Pierce Brothers and Richard Thompson. I also particularly liked the first hour of Fairport.

DM was indeed great, RT was wonderful, Trevor Horn's band was unexpectedly fine.

I think the defining moment was Morris On and the hanky-waving. Such fun and what Crops is all about.

My personal highlights included old timers Morris On and Fairport (fantastic sets) and young bucks The Pierce Bros and CC Smugglers (great fun). But hats (or berets) off to Mr Thompson - simply superb.

Fairport's stunning set.
I doubt we will see it's like again.

I'm restricted to Saturday only. It's Morris On and Fairports set for me, primarily because those set lists and combinations of personnel could not happen anywhere other than Cropredy.

Respect to one Mr Simon Nicol. He has to stand back and let RT take all the plaudits, and yet he trudges the stage year in year out knowing he was never the best guitarist in FC. Simon has a lovely voice, is a more than competent guitarist and comes across as a real gentleman. Lots of applause rightly for the old members and yes, Mattacks was excellent, but so was Gerry. RT was fab, but lets hear it for SC!

To me the whole festival can be crystalised into the opening bars of Time Will Show the Wiser. Past, present and (hopefully) future in one moment. Magical.
