The Fairport office is working closely with an independent film production company called Special Treats on a television documentary about the band's first fifty years. The 90-minute film will be broadcast later this year.
The production team need your help.
They are after photos of Fairport's early days in the late 1960s and early 70s - group shots or individual members, formal or intimate, posed or impromptu, indoor gigs or festivals large and small. They also need shots of early Cropredy festivals and the fore-runners - the garden gig at Prescote Manor, the farewell concert at Peewit Farm in 1979, the Broughton Castle event, and Cropredy in the early 1980s.
