600?  Tiny?  My Sue went to a sold out John Bramwell gig on Sat - 50 tickets Wink Grin

I saw Bridget St John at the Old Cinema Laundrette a few years ago  - capacity 35-40.  I think it was about half full.

Really?  That's shocking...Poor Bridget...  Then again, I did once see Loudon Wainwright in the Guildford Civic Hall ('83, capacity 1700) with an attendance of well under 50.

I'll not embarrass anyone but, about 5 years ago I went to a gig where there was me, the sound guy and a very confused looking girl behind the bar.
I was asked to clap as loud as I could.

I saw Smokie play in an Arena (Prob could have held 4000 people) in Coventry... maybe late 1990s or early 2000s.
It was virtually empty. Even worse, the venue was also an ice rink so our chairs were on fake floor that covered the ice. It was freezing.

Smokie played brilliantly, though. (I believe they have no entered the realms of 'no original members' left in the line-up these days.)

Next time, a few years later, it was in Bedworth Civic Hall which was full. (Prob a few hundred people)

Smokie. On ice. On ice? Why the f*** play on ice? Surely they could have played next door...  Wink

I recall seeing Rod Clements of Lindisfarne do a solo gig at a club in Cardiff a few years ago. There were about 12 people there, including Rod! He gave his all, though.
