Still, if they announce YES, Neil Young or David Gilmour this afternoon, I'll be straight online!

Lol.  You've got 2 chances of that one...which one do you want?  Wink Smiley

I cannot go next year. I am playing in a field somewhere else ( actually 2 different fields on the same day!!!)but I have never understood buying tickets for a fest when you don't know who you are going to see??
Don't reply. Some of you who have already bought tickets are friends of mine. Each to his own.

With any other festival I'd agree but this is Cropredy - it's where I've lived for a few days every August since 2004!

Due to our son having just been born a month ago it's looking unlikely that we can make it next year and it's already making me sad to think about it. I'm trying to justify a day trip - sitting at home knowing it was happening without me would drive me crazy...!

I shan't be buying any early tickets this year, as I'm not sure I can go - hopefully that will be sorted sometime after the New Year. Any idea when the first acts will be announced? I thought they would have been by now.

The website says, "we hope to have BOTH Thursday and Friday headliners confirmed by then!", which suggests they are still dotting 'i's and crossing 't's on contracts...

Tickets bought, logged on at 10:05. Confirmation e-mail back at 10:16. You don't have to register you can purchase as a guest. Very easy and I am no tech guru. Back on Field 8 which is great. Ticket numbers 479 & 480 so looking forward to receiving a Christmas Card. As for the line up I hear Fairport Convention are playing and they are always worth seeing so the rest is a bonus!!

'We shall be announcing a few of the fabulous artists we have booked so far on Monday afternoon. We shall announce the full line-up in the New Year before the one & two day tickets go on sale.'

Hmm, suggests they have yet to get full confirmation.

Field 8 sold out if that's what you were trying to add.

I make a point of buying Beautiful Days tickets as soon as they're available. By the Wednesday of the week of the festival I often still don't know who I'm going to see.

Apart from Digance, that all floats my boat!  Would love to see Al Stewart backed by some of the Fairport guys for some songs, as he was back in the day...

Where was this line up announced? Not on FCs facebook or home page.
