Lee Sklar is not fit to grace the same stage as such a fine bassist as Derek Smalls.
Did Lee Sklar write A Jazz Odyssey ?
No he did not.
Shame on you Bridge.

They should never have gone in that direction. What was Derek thinking?  Shocked

I like Lee as he debunks the myth that the low vibrations of a bass guitar make you lose your hair early...  Grin

Lulu was interviewed by Whispering Bob and clearly had no idea what county she was in, let alone what festival, nor did she care.

She left, in a big chauffeur driven car seconds after she got off stage.

She didn’t stay for a Goan fish curry and browse the merch stalls then?

If it's her, I hope she brings Johnny Pictish Trail with her.  Now that I'd pay good money to see.

Battlefield Band?  Capercaillie? Julie Fowlis?  Peatbogs?

They'd all do it for me.

It’s a case of how longs a bit of string I guess.
It’s obvious that they’ve had a couple of setbacks and the current target are the third I’d heard and that’s without the kinks rumour that surfaced sometime ago.
Whose to say who will headline Thursday...
One things for sure it won’t be for the lack of trying.....

Just spotted that Pierre Moerlen is getting the jazz rock version of Gong back together. And of course, the "real" Gong are active. Nightmare for Jules, great for me, on both counts...
