Apart from the ridiculous price asked for these photo's, I found it interesting to see Dave Pegg playing (what looks to be) a Höfner bass. The type made famous by Paul McCartney. Never saw him playing one on any other photo, film or video.

This was my 1st Fairport gig. The ticket stub is from a college gig in the same park but not for this one. I have the same ticket stub & I think it was from one in the mid 70's. It might be from the version that only played a few gigs when Maidstone was the 1st date.

I might offer £5 for the photo's!

I just had a look at the video from Maidstone and yes it is a hofner bass.I've  never noticed that before

I think I saw one with  "From Past Archives" on it too  wasn't that an unofficial release (I can't keep up with the issuing of Fairport compilations) , the still photo from their TOTP appearance for the hit single

The bottom photo isn’t even Fairport.  I think it’s Matthew’s Southern Comfort.
