I'm a llama!

Back in the early 90s, a great band/duo played Cropredy and performed a song which I really enjoyed. Trouble is, I’ve no idea who they were. All I remember was the chorus of the song went “I am ready for the storm, yes I am ready”. They might have been Irish, but I could be wrong. Does anyone out there know, as its bugged me for years and I’d love to hear the song again (rather than the version in my head!)

That definitely sounds like the song, but who did the version at Cropredy, I wonder....

Fantastic! That's the song! Many thanks, both. I’ll have to look over the old programmes to see if that jogs any dormant memories.

If you've got the Cropredy Capers boxed set, each year's acts are listed. Sadly no set lists or band lineups though.

Or there's this page....http://fclist.org/cropredy-cropredy-line-ups/cropredy-1990

Dougie played it himself last year, funnily enough.

I've tried to do a bit of research on YouTube as well, it's interesting what you find..like this set :

Wolfstone covered the song and played Cropredy in '92. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WrRZI9SpLuI

That Clarion set was very good. They are at the Brasenose on Cropredy Thursday at 2pm.

Is it the same band reformed?

What have Clarion got to do with it?  But yes, broadly, to the latter question...
