I'll be playing at some point during the concert to raise money for church restoration tomorrow. Free to pop in and out of the church but please drop some cash in the collection boxes. Details:

Church of St Mary the Virgin Cropredy, Fairport Festival Lunchtime Concert
From 12 noon until 3pm on Thursday 9 August. Start the festival weekend in style with our annual free lunchtime concert.

We have a fantastic and varied line up this year including :
Jon Bennett and Tatiana Soloviova with traditional songs from Russia and Europe, Famous Last Words, local blues band Gospel Bell together with local performers including Caroline the Musical Saw Lady and some exotic dances from Karen Bullen.

Why not get into the festival mood while enjoying a drink from our licensed bar, and tuck into a luxury Cropredy Ploughman’s Lunch in the cool comfort of our parish church?

….and don’t forget our traditional Festival Service at 9.30 on Sunday (complete with dancing in the aisles).

The Cropredy Church concert is on again this year. Thursday,12noon until 3pm. Featuring the Old Mettle Dance Band, Famous Last Words, Caroline the Musical Saw Lady and others. No charge. Just drop in, wander round, listen to some music and stay or pop out again. Please bring change for the church restoration fund collections though, as that's what it's all about

Sadly, as this clashes with meeting at the cricket club, we always seem to miss this. Will make an extra effort this year
