There's a serious problem when the sound mix is so bad that you can't hear the lyrics in comedy songs and that's what happened. I asked around and it wasn't just me.

However that gets forgiven if you pull off a stunt like 'crowd boating'. Great build up, with the lads having their own BRA BAR in the audience. Bangin' block rockin' beats as well.
A Cropredy first and that takes some doing.

Yeah, the mix wasn't great, although the singer could have been better on the mic. Great fun, although I'm sure they weren't everyone's cup of tea. 'How Deep is your Glove' had a touch of genius about it.

Agree to a point but it seemed to me, standing near the front, that it became better after the first couple of songs. Certainly enough of the jokes were getting through to have peeps around me laughing loads. Vocals might have been less clear elsewhere on the field of course.
I thought they went down a storm, and must have picked up lots of new fans. Obviously, the biggest venue I've ever seen them perform, and I reckon they nailed it (which I hoped they would but feared they might not). A cert to be re-booked, I would have thought.

The "crowd boating" was good fun, but only a Cropredy first because Rammstein have unaccountably never been booked to headline there.

Certainly weren’t my cup of tea! They came across as a crude cabaret act trying to shoehornn dodgy lyrics into classic tunes. Yes I know that’s their act but did nothing for me. However I must admit I did smile at the song regarding catching yourself in the trouser zip (can’t remember what the tune was though) but songs like “Walking in Man Piss” - assuming that’s what they were singing as I too couldn’t hear at times - left me cold

We also had problems with the sound (we were right at the front) - a parody where you can't make out the words is not ideal.

I thought that there were a perfect act for the slot they were in - uptempo, good fun, a sense of humour - and thoroughly enjoyed them.

I like a lot of comedy but I thought they were dreadful with schoolboy humour. The joke wore thin very quickly.

I like schoolboy humour (I watch hours of Inbetweeners repeats) so I loved them. Couldn’t catch a lot of their lyrics but I caught the gist of all of them. I thought they were brilliant. Great musicians, plenty of funny banter and they had most of the field in hysterics, not to mention jumping around! The crowd surf was inspired and I noticed he didn’t spill a drop!

People often talk about “these troubled times” so let’s enjoy ourselves and have a laff

Completely biased I suppose but I thought they went down a storm. Lots of laughter from first timers round by me and lots of cd's were sold afterwards. Very proud to see my good friends up on that stage and immensely chuffed for them.

Thought they would be a bit marmite and didn’t really know what to expect, but they were great fun. Exactly the right time.

Song about a girl from Dodsworth was ironic. My wife is from that area and the only Cropredy in 20 years we have missed was because we went to a family wedding at Dodsworth Hall. I still bear a grudge as I never did get to see Jackie Leven.

I'm on this side of the crowd, I'm afraid.  I was hoping for better - never having heard them before - but rather too much schoolboy, toilet humour doesn't do it for me.  Crowd surfing was good though.
