They didn't get the best of the weather but I enjoyed them a lot, top quality musicians and singers, and good songs.
I've seen the Misses Carrivick several times as a duo, and as half of Cardboard Fox, and they are always good.

Yeah enjoyed them as I got wetter and wetter. Went to CD stall next day to get a Skyracer CD and was told they’d taken them all with them...why?

Excellent. They were at Folk by the Oak and very badly served by the sound desk. They shone at Cropredy.

Enjoyed what I heard of them, though I was huddled down under the rain at the time. Good festival band. In other conditions they'd probably have got a better reaction.

Our big 'discovery' band of the festival! We were down the front and really loved seeing the enjoyment on their faces while they played - and what fabulous players they are! Clearly great songwriters too, so they have everything.

Third time seeing them this summer, Abbotsbury and FbtO were in the blazing sun so it was good to see that they could succeed in the rain. Was watching the blues skies approaching and hoping that the sun would shine for their last number - sadly not to be.
