At my first ever Cropredy, twenty years ago, I was with my mate, Nick, telling him that a guy on stage thought he was Robert Plant. I then looked up, only to see the actual Planty walking ( or should I say floating) by surrounded by beautiful people.

Tall, with his flowing locks I literally ‘saw’ it in slow mo with a glow all around him, like a scene from a movie!

That was really the only time I had ever been star struck, at that point.

I bumped into Planty in the record tent too...Peggy had told me earlier he was coming, whilst he was signing his book. I was a bit stalkery and filmed him in there signing somebody's Zep record on my phone. Imagine that - you buy a second hand vinyl copy of Houses Of The Holy, and in walks Robert Plant to sign it and increase it's value instantly.
