Trying to be young!

Haven’t seen this usual topic yet for Cropredy 2018 so would be interesting to see if any ‘famous’ people were attracted to come this year. Mind you I can never recognise anybody so they could be standing right next to me and I wouldn’t realise who they were Grin

I'm sure I saw Judy walking around the field on Saturday, and also had a chat with Ashley at the Talking Elephant stall.

I was usually making my way to the ice cream van at the top of the field with that David Longdon in tow

Moved to Cropredy after playing the festival. When we phoned up the owner of Bridge Meadow last year to give us a tow with his tractor he was actually talking to joe.

End of the Brian Wilson set I turned around to walk back up the field and literally bumped into Planty who had a great big smile on his face and was saying" Nighty night Cropredy!"  Grin Grin Grin

I suppose R. McTell doesn't count. It would be more to the point to say "occasions when I went to Cropredy and didn't see Ralph McTell".

Ah ha! The annual Planty urban myth!  Grin

Edit: I stand corrected now I have read Tasha’s post! ( but usually, every year someone says they heard Planty was there even tho’ noone saw him)  Wink

Johnny Walker was there cos on his radio show he mentioned being in Peggy's company backstage then heading off to buy a coffee and sugary pancake when he bumped in to Al, shook his hand and left him looking at a sticky palm!!

He stated on his radio show that he was there, so probably true.
