Nope.  Went to the car boot sale instead.

Yes and I know a lot of people on here don’t like him (politics or whatever) but I always enjoy his set and I went to see him last year as he wasn’t playing Cropredy. The hankie waving/ Morris dancing bit accompanying “We are Searching” is always well received by the audience

Yep, saw him and he was exactly as expected - same old same old. Intermittently enjoyable for me, but for many of my friends he is a highlight of the festival.

The cynic in me did wonder whether the repeated exhortations to tweet/link to his Facebook were merely an attempt to drive traffic there and increase his profile. But then I resolved not to be such a grump and stood up and waved my hankie.

Not sure he needs to ‘raise his profile’. He also celebrated 50 years in the business last year so think it may be a bit late to try that

We made sure we were on the field in time to see him and he didn't disappoint. He's funny and he starts off the Saturday proceedings very well IMHO.

Loved his "bugger off" song and of course joined in with the morris dancing to We Are Searching.

Glad to see him back in his rightful spot Smiley

He’s a clever and witty songwriter and I quite enjoyed him.
I just don’t like his ‘miserable git’ on stage persona.

It's purely personal taste, but I find his rose tinted nostalgia grates on me.
Still you have to accept that he is very popular.
