Most kind of you to say so Bridgwit. The latest server stats show our listener numbers since June have gone down but the number of hours being listened to has gone up. Make of that what you will.

On this coming week's show you can hear the following musicians and singers...

George Harrison, Davy Graham, Ottersgear, Rowan Ross, Cara Dillon, Drop The Box, The Colourfield, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Coreen Scott, Steve Knightley, Honey and the Bear, Pentangle and Edgelarks.

Tune in every day at 11am, 4pm and 8pm

There is a new series on Radio 4 presented / narrated by Michael Morpurgo exploring " the ways in which folk songs have reflected timeless human experiences, both in the past and today". The first episode (Monday 19th Oct) concentrated on Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye, and had spoken contributions from a host of folk artists, including Ashley Hutchings. Next week's song is Four Loom Weaver. Programme title is Michael Morpurgo's Folk Journeys.
