This week's playlist started with a couple of tracks from Neil Young's Harvest Moon and I then decided to stick with releases from that year - 1992. So not really any folk music on this week's show but this is some of what I was listening to 30 years ago...

Michelle Shocked, The Jayhawks, REM, Del Amitri, The Icicle Works, Indigo Girls, The Black Crowes, Brian May, The Levellers and The Stranglers.

The featured album on this week's show is 'Maverick Thinker' by William The Conqueror. I know there was some discussion about them recently but I can't find it. It was probably in the Listening thread which seems to be getting pruned rather over-enthusiastically these days.

Also on the playlist are...

First Aid Kit, Idiot Johnson, The Jellyman's Daughter, Joshua Burnell, Cara, Ninebarrow, Simon Jaymes, Anais Mitchell, Cardboard Fox, The Rheingans Sisters and Duncan Wood.

There are two shows that might be of interest on Ginger Feather FM this week. On my show at 1pm and 8pm I've tracks by -

Harp and a Monkey, Grace Petrie, The Broken-Hearted Few, Sad-Eyed Puffins, Luke Jackson, Martin Stephenson, Megson, Manran, Kathryn Tickell, Kim Edgar with JP Piirainen, Olivia Dacre, William Warren, Billy Bragg and Harvey Lord.

And our new prog rock presenter Phil Brady says of his show -

"As I am off to see Fairport Convention next weekend, I thought this week's show should take a folksy twist. Songs from Jethro Tull, Gryphon, Comus, Kaipa, Spirogyra, Strawbs and of course from Fairport themselves. Join me on The World of Prog, from Monday, at 2pm and 10pm on 'The Mighty' Gingerfeather FM."
