Just booked - Austin City Limits Celebrates 50 Years, tomorrow at ACL Live! This sold out a long time ago, but two tickets just popped up and we grabbed them. This is being filmed for broadcast, presumably in 2025.

Here's are the announced performers:  Leon Bridges, Gary Clark Jr. joined by Eve Monsees, Billy Strings featuring Sierra Hull and Zach Top, Indigo Girls, Lyle Lovett, Shawn Colvin, Brandy Clark, Rufus Wainwright, The Mavericks, Ángela Aguilar, Cam and Lloyd Maines & the ACL All-Stars, and appearances by Trio Los Panchos and the Tosca String Quartet.

The host is hometown boy Jared Padalecki of Supernatural (I still think it's crazy that the stars of Supernatural were both born and raised in Texas). This will be fun!

Look forward to hearing about this, how lucky!  I only know of Lyle Lovett, Rufus Wainwright and The Mavericks. Can’t wait to see Rufus live again.

Just booked to see Talisk in Exeter this week, supported by Blair Dunlop.  For some reason it wasn't on my radar until I saw an advert on FB this morning.

Then Oysterband at the same venue a week on Monday, and War Horse (touring production) in Plymouth the day after. Not sure who's the Songman on this tour.

System7 (Steve Hillage & Miquette Giraudy) at Stroud Subscription Rooms this Friday, and  Oysterband at the same venue a week tomorrow.

And a shameless plug for the Victoria Ukulele Group's festive gig next Wednesday at Cafe Revive in Gloucester's Eastgate Market Shopping Mall, 1pm-3pm.  Revive raises money and awareness for the homeless and rough sleepers in and around the city.

Tomorrow night, I'm off to see a double header of Canadian bands who play in the Southern rock style - The Sheepdogs & The Commoners. They're both excellent on record so I'm hopeful of a great show.

My opinion of him has grown massively in the last couple of decades having realised what a driving force  he was behind CSN. I love seeing him live. I see the support is Peter Asher!! How long since he's played live? Could be interesting. I have his autograph (and Gordon's) from the 60's . Be interesting to have 2 that are 60 years apart.

I saw the Sheepdogs a few years ago in Cardiff. I didn't know them at all and I only went because my nephew's band, The Good Water, were supporting them. However, I thoroughly enjoyed their set.
