Now that I've booked Bill Murray's musical (comedy?) extravaganza at the Paramount this spring, I'm circling a similar production from noted Simpsons voice actor Hank Azaria, who apparently put together an amazing and hilarious Bruce Springsteen tribute show with the "EZ Street Band."

Rev Army have got another gig this year (sadly, I missed the last one due to my radiotherapy), and very kindly of them, it's on my birthday... Smiley

Windborne in Barry tomorrow night. A recent discovery, I've fallen in love with their four part harmony and songs from around the world. Can't wait.

A friend has got four tickets for this David Crosby evening at the Barbican on Monday which he can't get to due to problems with his eyes (and driving)... They cost him £160...he's only after £80.  Get in touch with me if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with him.

Black Sabbath bring heavy metal home for one last time

Given the depth of the bill I can't imagine they'll play for more than 15 minutes (and I doubt Ozzy at least is up to more than that).  As a result I can't get excited as that's pretty much the only thing that I'd like to see... Still, I am pleased they all manage to have one more throw of the dice (especially Bill).

I agree..it's good that Bill is there.
I've seen four different incarnations of 'Sabbath' but I've never seen Bill with them...although he was honing his chops in the room next door to my band at our rehearsal studios prior to the 'Last Supper' concert.
It looks as though the folk at the bottom of the poster will form a supergroup, and the rumour is that the event will be similar to the Freddie Mercury tribute, with the other bands playing Sabs songs, and, as you say, the original four doing a short set of War Pigs, Iron Man and Paranoid and a couple of others.
Hopefully, there will be a streaming set up of some sort, so everyone will be able to watch.
If they want.

Tickets available Feb 14th, btw.
No idea how much...

Yes, I've got my ticket

Also, regarding Sabbath - I'd love to see that one, particularly as it's at Villa Park! However, I dread to find out how much they'll be charging for it.

I imagine we can guess.  Start at something approaching £150?

In a very good mood as I managed to get a ticket for Sparks at the (former) Hammersmith Apollo next June. Phenomenal live band!
