From the Home Service FB page:

"We are delighted to announce that Bob Fox has joined Home Service as our new lead singer, following the news that John Tams has decided to step down.
Bob will make his Home Service debut on 14 August, when we headline a concert at Queens Road Baptist Centre in Broadstairs as part of Broadstairs Folk Week".

Presumably Graeme Taylor will be back treading the boards after recovering from his recent eye operation.

I do hope Tam is OK.  A hard act to follow, to be sure.

Hopefully some more gigs to come...

That's interesting news - a band I haven't seen since the 1980's and would like to catch up with. Personally, given the overlap in personnel, I'd love to see a "two band tour" with Gryphon.

I remember years ago John Tams proudly saying that Graeme Taylor was the musical director for Rolf Harris for many years.

This is no longer mentioned.

Graeme Taylor is of course in no way to be connected with Harris' criminal sex offences.
