Roger dean limited edition cropredy print.
Pricey but I know in years to come when I’m looking at it framed and on the wall that il be glad I purchased it.
Food from the Greek expectations van was lovely as always and top chaps who run it.
Friend had a burrito and really enjoyed it.

Now let’s talk about the brownies….
Possibly THE best cakes I’ve ever eaten, loads of flavours and they told me they’ll be back again next year.
Personally loved the Black Forest gateau brownie but my friend kept telling me she’d never eaten anything as nice as the salted caramel…. And the biscotti !!!

Roger Dean Cropredy t shirt. My son, Paul, bought a pair of outrageously colourful trousers for his son. No idea which stall he got them from, though.

My only purchase this year was from the car boot - Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here (Experience version).  I'm trying to cut down a bit on CD purchases, but may well be exploring downloads of some of the bands, especially Joshua Burnell.

I didn't really like the T-shirt design this year, so skipped it (first time since the 'Crop Till You Drop' one - I still cringe at that one!).

Some good food though - I enjoyed the Ostrich burger, an Oggie, Wedges and chilli, and chow mein from the Asian fusion stall. The falafels from the Veggie stall were good (but not quite as good as the ones we had in Jerusalem at Easter!).

Peat & Diesel Live CD - I just slapped it in the CD player.  No sound. Moved it on a track. No sound.  Timer was moving along. No sound. Turned up the volume. No sound. Tried all the inputs (in the knowledge it wasnt that!). No sound. Despaired i'd bought a dud CD. Ejected it. Put in another CD I know "works". No sound.

Then realised I hadn't turned the amp on!

Roger Dean Cropredy t shirt.

Please be aware that at least one person has had problems with washing theirs, at 30C. The design fell apart.

On the other hand Joss Mullinger of this parish washed his at 40C without any problems.

Hooky at the bar, food was Halloumi fries (ok but pricey), pizza (excellent ) and as usual a trip to Leons which always satisfies. Only music was a Kiki Dee LP - shocked by price of Caravan Land of Grey and Pink £55 - must check the loft...

You'd want a decent one for that, but there are 3 figure copies being offered on Discogs (Median price £52.50 though).

The Talking Elephant stall had a selection of collectible LPs, incuding a first issue of the 1st Faust album, transparent vinyl, with lyric sheet printed in red. A mere £90. I've got one of those, so that could help with the ticket for next year's Cropredy...

Just two CDs this year, The Strawbs 'The Magic Of it All' and Solstice 'Light Up' to go with my other Solstice CD's which include their Cropredy performance in 1998. I also wandered into the T-Shirt tent early afternoon Saturday and bought the Roger Dean 'Cropredy' T-shirt, the last XXL I was told! I'm not quite that size but the cut is quite fitted (or so I kid myself!). For the first year I ventured out of my safe (boring!) zone and went for some exotic (well, it is to me!) food, the Sweet & Sour Chicken & Rice from the Japanese & Asian Fusion stall - delicious it was too.   (PS I hear some folk have had difficulty washing their Roger Dean T-shirt, well mine was fine after a 40 degree wash but I will take care in future.)

As an early queuer, I picked up a 3XL Dean t-shirt, of which there were a few.

The washing problems appear to have been a one-off and they got an immediate refund via the Office, so that's good.

As we couldn’t come this year, we have ordered a couple of things from the website...ordered about a fortnight ago. Any idea how long things would normally take to be delivered?

Also a kindly gentleman, from around these parts, sent us a programme  Cheesy

Deliveries are usually prompt. A gentle reminder email to the Office may help.
