Looks interesting for the young and fit.
These days I need to be able to take my small car and camp next to it so that I'm not carrying my tent etc from the car park and kit back and forth to the tent. It also allows me to lock valuables away in the evening and retrieve them in the morning.
As it clashes with Shrewsbury FF, probably not for us.
Have fun!

It's terrifying and depressing (to me) how few of those artists I've actually heard of. Looks really nice though...

Valtos and Tide Lines are familiar and local to the Hebrides. Tide Lines appeared at Cropredy 2019. Other than that, also familiar with Blair Dunlop ...vaguely think Sam Kelly was at Cropredy sometime, not sure...but no others are familiar. It does look like a good little festival, but obviously too far for us and I agree with Andy about the comfort aspect as the years progress.

I recognise a few names. I saw Luke Jackson supporting Fairport a couple of years back when they played in Morecambe. Honey & The Bear are one of my favourite duos of recent years and The Magpies are pretty good. But the majority are new names to me.

FieldLily are the two sisters who were 2/3s of Wildwood Kin, who also played at Cropredy a few years back.

Not knowing the acts is part of the point of going really. I have watched Luke Jackson since he was 17 and love his stuff. Saw Honey and the Bear and Magpies at Magpie Fest last yr and both were excellent Seen Blair a few times but everything, else is new to me live. As a 72 yr old bloke I still look for a fest with that hippy vibe of my youth.🤪😇🥸 This may be a bit ‘ well being’ but with luck , I’ll meet new people, discover new music and have a jam with people late in the night…. and if anyone questions my age I will pull my, ‘ who saw Jimi Hendrix at the Isle of Wight?’ card out of my back pocket! If , of course, anyone knows who Jimi Hendrix was!😇😇😇🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Not cheap though . £220 total , including £20 for arriving on Thurs and £50 for my , under 5.5 metre campervan.

Being neither young or fit I will endeavour to survive. We’ve just sold our very comfy 6.3 metre motor home Andy and I am embarking on a micro camper , which does mean I have my house, albeit effectively a metal tent, with me……

A very brief summing up of Between the Trees. A beautiful , little festival , 1400 people a day in a sylvian setting in a forest. Natural space in trees for MainStage. Loads of other stuff going on , talks, activities for kids and adults and that indescribable, friendly , alternative vibe . I loved it ……but it was almost a mile walk through the woods from campervan field to main stage. A bit like Cropredy…..take everything you need for the day……and the best fest shower I’ve ever had …. I didn’t see a duff act all weekend and memorable sets from….Deep Blue, Firewood Island, Holly Abraham, Honey and the Bear , Luke Jackson, Sam Kelly and the Lost Boys ( stand out set of the w end for me) Magpies, Mishra, Wandering Hearts, Matthew and the Atlas , Blair Dunlop and bouncy crossover, headlining sets from Tidelines ( Big Country with bagpipes!) and Valtos (House beats with fiddles, whistles , bagpipes ) My thing really…..I danced ! to use the word loosely which is why I can’t walk today! Beautiful fest, lovely people…..fabby setting….
