Such sad news (from Ralph's Facebook page)
Sending love and sympathy to Ralph and all the May family.

Nanna Solveig May
19 August 1943 - 6 October 2024

It is with deep sadness that we have to inform you that Ralph’s beloved wife Nanna passed away at 1.30pm on Sunday 6th October.

They had been married for over 57 years.

In the last months of her life, Nanna was cared for with compassion and dignity as she endured the final stages of her dementia journey. She had been living with cerebral amyloid angiopathy, but retained her grace, humour and love of music to the very end.

Ralph would like to extend the family’s gratitude to her carers at Viera Gray in Barnes, London.

Ralph and his family will be taking their time to grieve and thank everyone for respecting their privacy at this time.

This must be such a great loss for Ralph.  All of those years together.
