King’s Hall Ilkley lists Steeleye performing 25 November and a new album called Confilcted. No mention of this on their official website or Park Records!

As a band, Steeleye have been massively limited by their own communication strategy.  I think Vince is right with the best place for up to date news...

Yes indeed, plenty going on for Steeleye at the moment.

They have an upcoming tour in April/May at which it's expected the new album 'Conflict' will be ready to sell at the merch table before a proper release/launch later in the year. They are then touring again in November/December for a bigger, longer tour to "launch'" the new album properly. This tour will also mark the 50th anniversary since 'All Around My Hat' single/album so I wonder if they will mark that in some way

The new album is the first full studio album in 6 years. By all accounts it's continuing the same, quite rocky style of the last couple of albums, but will feature more original songs alongside some trad Arr of course.

and yes, the above website is the best place for all the latest news for Steeleye  Wink Grin Cool

The internet tells me Steeleye played twice in Austin, in their whole career. In 1973 they played at the legendary Armadillo World Headquarters, and in 1997 they played the humble Cactus Cafe (capacity about 150). I can't imagine there's any way to get them back here, but it would be nice to at least have them cross the pond for an east coast tour...
