It's 42 years ago today, that the Dead released AOXOMOXOA.  That makes me feel very old!

Yesterday, according to wiki... Sorry, does that make you feel older?   Smiley

The latest Road Trips offering looks to be particularly strawberry. Full show from Denver, 21st Nov '73, + a segment from the previous night with a "Mind Left Body Jam". Mmm.

I fancy this one!

There's a bonus disc for subscribers.  I didn't subscribe though.  I'm wondering what the bonus disc is all the same, with a eye to maybe grabbing one on eBay.

Finally tracked one down with the bonus disc.  Not cheap, but neither was it at the ludicrous high price I've been seeing it go for either.

Slight deviation from the thread but has anyone heard of a Furthur European tour next year? It neatly links in to 40 years on from the famous tour.

I was told by someone who is on the furthur forum that there had been some discussion about it.
Apparently someone knew someone who was adamant that a venue had been booked in Europe (can't remember where but not uk )
I suspect it might be wishful thinking but wouldn't it be wonderful? Cropredy 2012?
If you haven't already i recommend you take a look on Bob Weir's TRIstudio site some good stuff there!

Extraordinarily unlikely I'd suggest (Bobby lost lots of money with Ratdog in 2002/3 and Phil has publicly ruled out touring in Europe with P&F), but it would be lovely if it happened...

ps if anyone has a spare Europe '72 box lying around for about 50 quid...I'm your man  Grin

Cropredy 2012?

I'd be suprised if you could book Further for less than the entire booking budget of the festival.  And you'd probably have about 5000 people there (5000 people who'd have a fab time, but still about 10000 too few to break even).  Sad but true!

Not sure if it's open access or not.  If it's not just search for Sunshine Daydream Chicago Hippie Shop and press 'like'.  Then look at the album and start gently weeping..for people like me who have more than earned our stripes but can't afford it.  Self pity?  You bet... Grin

Let's start a self help group, Jim.  We'll repeatedly play a self made compilation of Brent lead vocals from the late 80's whilst looking at photographs of the rubbish left behind by those young rascals in the parking lots post-87.  That will sort us... Grin

Thanks, David.  Yes I can see it (as a non-Facebooker).  Hmmm... I wonder when they're going to email me to finalise my purchase.  They said they were starting doing that last week....

You could at least sound a little excited, Jules!

Lots of people haven't been emailed yet...I wouldn't panic (although if it's any consolation they are all freaking out too...)  Wink Smiley
